To investigate the clinical efficacy of tiotropium bromide(136310-93-5) in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) complicated with bronchiectasis. Methods: Forty patients with COPD complicated with bronchiectasis admitted in Zhongjiang County People 's Hospital from April 2015 to February 2016 were randomly divided into control group (n = 19) and observation group (n = 21). The patients in the control group were treated with tiotropium bromide(136310-93-5) on the basis of routine treatment. FEV1, forced vital capacity (FVC), first-second forced expiratory volume and forced vital capacity (FEV1 / FVC), deep suction (FEV1 / FVC) were measured before and after treatment. PaO2, arterial blood carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2), clinical symptom score and exercise tolerance (including cough, shortness of breath, rales score and 6 min walk), blood pressure analysis (including blood pressure Distance] and the occurrence of adverse reactions. Results: The levels of FEV1, FVC, FEV1 / FVC and IC were significantly different between the two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). The levels of FEV1, FVC, FEV1 / FVC and IC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in PaO2 and PaCO2 between the two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). PaO2 was lower in the observation group than in the control group (P <0.05). There were no significant differences in cough, shortness of breath, rumor score and 6 min walking distance between the two groups before treatment (P> 0.05). After treatment, the cough, shortness of breath and rales were lower in the observation group than in the control group. Min walking distance was longer than that of the control group (P <0.05). No serious adverse events were observed in both groups during treatment. Conclusion: Tiotropium bromide(136310-93-5) is effective in the treatment of COPD with bronchiectasis, which can effectively improve the pulmonary function and blood gas analysis indexes, alleviate the clinical symptoms and no obvious adverse reactions.
